John was born in Charlotte and has called North Carolina home for most of his life. Moving back to Charlotte in 1997, John decided that he liked the energy, convenience, and urban lifestyle that the uptown area had to offer. After living in historic Fourth Ward for over 5 years, he found a bungalow in the Elizabeth neighborhood that had the character, charm, and architectural detail that suited his tastes. After several years in Elizabeth, John now calls Myers Park home with his wife and he remains passionate about all the different neighborhoods in the Charlotte area

John enjoys playing soccer, golf, running, music, and occasionally competes in local triathlons. He also attends most Panthers game with his family and can be seen at most Bobcats games as a season ticket holder.
